DOEACC at present known as the NIELIT, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, has designed so many Course on Computer concepts and its applications each in a different level. DOEACC ‘O’ Level is also the one of the course it had designed. Candidates who completed this course then proceed to study DOEACC ‘A & B’ Level course in the same order.
This DOEACC ‘O’ Level course is equivalent to the Foundation Level Courses on the Applications of the Computer. Students can get this qualification by completing this course and by passing the examination conducted by the NIELIT in various examination centres. DOEACC ‘O’ Level Course Syllabus
Various subjects for this programme are listed below. All these subjects are designed by the Student NIELIT for those candidates who will be learning the ‘O’ Level syllabus. - IT Tools and Business System (M1-R4)
- Internet Technology and Web Design (M2-R4)
- Programming and Problem Solving through ‘C’ (M3-R4)
These are subjects while candidates can also select some subjects from the list of the electives provide by the NIELIT to the applicants who registered for this ‘O’ Level course. The following list is the Electives out of which only one of the following three modules to be chosen as an Elective.
- Application of .Net Technology (M4, 1- R4)
- Introduction to Multimedia (M4. 2- R4)
- Introduction to ICT Resources (M4. 3- R4)
- Practical (Based on M1, M2, M3, M4 modules syllabus)
The Project provides the students with additional hands-on experience by solving some of the real-life problems by applying the knowledge and skills that are gained throughout the course. For ‘O’ Level computer course, marks are not specifically assigned for the project assignment.
